    We can typically schedule a free in-home assessment within 24–72 hours, and begin care shortly after. We’re ready when you are.

  1. Are your caregivers trained and certified?

    Yes. All Ascent caregivers are certified, insured, and receive ongoing training in clinical skills, dementia care, and communication.

  2. Do we get the same caregiver every time?

    Yes. We intentionally match you with caregivers who stay. Your loved one builds trust—and your family avoids the stress of constant change.

  3. Can I get overnight or 24-hour care at home?

    Absolutely. We offer full overnight and 24/7 support for families who need it, including post-surgical care, complex medical needs, and peace-of-mind monitoring.

  4. What if my parent’s needs change suddenly?

    We’re flexible. All care plans are reviewed regularly by nurses and can be adjusted as your loved one’s health, mobility, or situation evolves.

Funding & Flexibility

  1. Can I get government-funded home care in Alberta?

    Yes. We’re an approved provider under Alberta’s CDHCI program. We’ll help you apply for funding and explain what’s covered and what’s not—clearly and honestly.

  2. What’s the difference between private home care and AHS services?
